Have you ever noticed how sales people in general spend a lot of time on what to say – telling us what we need? Very little time is usually spent on asking what the customer needs. It’s true, most salespeople are trained and know how to position the value of their product or service but they don’t know how to ask the right questions. In sales, questions are important. You have to ask questions to identify new opportunities, qualify buyers, uncover needs, find out who will make the decisions, identify objections and find out what else needs to occur to close a transaction. However, just asking questions is not enough because the truth is most people are not too receptive to answer your questions. Knowing "what to ask" and "how to ask it" is what I believe, sets me apart and helps me navigate the sales process more effectively, so my clients can reach their objectives. One of the reasons I hold the prestigious Master Of Sales Award (Top 11-20% of my residential marketplace based on sales earnings), as well as the Presidents Gold Award (Top 6-10% of my residential marketplace based on sales earnings) is my strong ability to close a deal time and time again.

I also come from a real estate family which I feel is equally worth mentioning. My father enjoyed a successful and lengthy career in the real estate business since the early 80’s. I grew up watching my father display a true and unwavering commitment to his many clients. He worked tirelessly most evenings and weekends. As a kid, I never understood what drove him. Surely there had to be an easier way to make a living I thought! Well here I am today, enjoying the same career my father chose so many years ago. I now understand that my father just simply loved what he did. He was passionate about real estate; about helping people realize their dreams.
It is this very same passion that drives me in my career today. Like my father, I too work most evenings and weekends but I can’t think of anything else I would rather do. I love what I do and take enormous pride in my chosen profession. It is a privilege to help people make such major decisions as a sale or purchase of their home. My father passed away on December 2, 2003. So I try to make him proud and honour his memory every day by making a positive impact in people’s lives.

It is important to give back!
When you BUY or SELL a home with me, a portion of my every paycheck is donated to the The Shelter Foundation.
I chose to donate to this foundation because it helps Women And Children Escape Violence And Rebuild Their Lives.
Because we are committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charitable foundation. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs.
Every dollar raised goes directly to helping the more than 30,000 women and children who are served each year by the shelters and support programs we fund. Since 1998, the Shelter Foundation has raised more than $24 million and currently supports 200 local women’s shelters and national partners. Our agents donate a portion of their commissions and Royal LePage offices across Canada hold local fundraising events. Our brokers, agents and staff also volunteer and provide in-kind goods to benefit the women and children residing in their local shelters.
